Fernie Stanford Resort, Fernie

Our stay at the Stanford Waterslide Resort was a mixed bag. The kids absolutely loved the waterslide and the indoor pool, which made for a fun family experience. However, the rooms were in need of some updates, and the breakfast selection was quite basic. While the location was convenient for skiing, it felt like the hotel could benefit from some attention to detail in service and amenities.

I had high hopes for this hotel based on my previous visit, but unfortunately, this time was quite disappointing. While the staff members were friendly and welcoming, the rooms felt rundown and in need of updates. The breakfast options were lackluster, and several issues with the amenities left a lot to be desired. It's a location that could be great, but there are definitely some important areas needing improvement.

Overall, I had a decent experience at the hotel, particularly enjoying the on-site Indian restaurant which was excellent. However, my stay was marred by noise issues from the lower floor room and limited breakfast options. While the facilities like the pool were fun for kids, overall cleanliness and comfort could use improvement.
